Vice President, Marketing

Mr. Carter joined Coherex Medical in March of 2006. He has more than thirty-five years of experience in cardiovascular device marketing and sales, and was a consultant for the Advanced Health Technologies Group of SRI International. Mr. Carter began his career at American Edwards Laboratories, where he was instrumental in the market development activities for one of the most revolutionary technologies in critical care medicine, the Swan-Ganz hemodynamic monitoring system. Prior to joining Coherex, Mr. Carter served as Vice President, Sales and Marketing at Rubicon Medical, Inc. and Director of Global Marketing at Precision Vascular, Inc. in Salt Lake City, Utah. Boston Scientific acquired both of these companies. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biological Sciences from the University of California, Irvine, and also served in the U.S. Marine Corps.
