David L. Stott

Chief Patent Counsel

Mr. Stott joined Coherex in May 2007 and has more than 10 years experience as a patent attorney. He worked in private practice for six years prior to joining ICON Health and Fitness, Inc., as its Inhouse Intellectual Property Counsel. Mr. Stott has gained experience in many aspects of intellectual property including patent preparation and prosecution, counseling clients in patent strategy and design-around options, infringement and right-to-use opinions, and the enforcement, negotiation and licensing of intellectual property rights. He has a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Utah and received his Juris Doctor from the John Marshall Law School in Chicago. He is licensed to practice law in the state of Utah, as well as before the United States Patent and Trademark Office.
